AMHI Keynote Speaker, Robert Egger

Below- AHMI 2009 Banquet

AHMI 2009- American Humanics Management Institute in Indianapolis was a wonderful blend of educational workshops and lectures and networking opportunities. AHMI was a great experience for our TSUNLA students, Jacqueline Meeks and Susan West, who attended the conference.

Speakers included Robert Egger, the Founder and President of the DC Central Kitchen, which assists unemployed men and women to learn marketable culinary skills with foods donated by restaurants, hotels and caterers are converted into balanced meals. Since opening in 1989, the Kitchen has distributed over 20 million meals and helped 700 men and women gain full-time employment.
He writes blogs and editorials to share his ideas about the nonprofit sector and the future of America. To check out Robert’s most recent speaking schedule, blogs, and editorials, please visit www.robertegger.org.
